And so it begins..

Most of you will know me some may not so I'll give you a very quick synopsis of who I am :)

I am Alexis. Wife of one whom I love to bits this will be our 13th year of marriage and I love him more today than I did then.
Im a Mum of four fantastic kiddos two boys 12 and 10 and two girlies 7 and nearly 3! Im in my mid 30s (ouch! not sure if you know how it pains me to write that! :)

I love spending time with family and friends and you will often find me tucked up with a book or board game especially scrabble or settlers and a coffee not far away.

I love to be creative this takes many different forms.. maybe if I spent less time on pintrest pinning things I would be a little more successful creatively!

Passionate? why yes I am... about what? ooo about so much but I especially love seeing women, young. old, single married grow in their faith, discovering the gifts and talents that God has placed within them watching them grow and  having the privilege of walking a part of that journey alongside them.

Now before I jump in boots and all I want to say that this blog is written from my perspective and I am a Follower of Jesus a "Christian" so this is and will be a faith based blog.

I started this as in my own faith journey I have needed wisdom and guidance without judgement which hasnt always been easy to find espcially since the issues that have presented are not always the "right" thing to talk about in wider church circles. The purpose of this blog is to encourage women to think beyond a worldly perspective and be free to discuss anything to do with relationships, sex, beauty and being a women on this journey of faith..



 My intention is not to persuade you to 'my' beliefs or values but more to encourage you to think about the 'flip side' and to provide you with a biblical standpoint where you can seek God and come to your own conclusions.


 ..the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

James 3:17 

This is not a place of judgement as we are not called to judge EVER!  Jesus calls us to love and encourage one another that is and will always be my heart, always my intention.
I welcome your views, thoughts and comments on issues that will be discussed in this forum.
I dont for one second believe that I have all the answers but I am more than happy to provide a Biblical view and chat about my own experience.

 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,  so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11
